The Bulacan Provincial Health Office reported eighteen (18) new confirmed cases from the towns / city of (5) Malolos, (4) Baliwag, (2) Marilao, (2) Hagonoy), (2) CSJDM, (1) Bulakan, (1) Bocaue, (1) Calumpit. One (1) new recovery today from City of Malolos. No new deaths reported today. The total now is at 394 confirmed cases, 202 recovered patients, and 35 deaths.

The City of San Jose Del Monte is still at the top with 81 casesMarilao and the City of Malolos followed next with 37 cases each. The City of Meycauayan is in 3rd place with 27 cases.

June 29 – 376 COVID-19 Cases, 201 Recovered Patients, & 35 Deaths

Maria, (1) Marilao, (1) Obando, (1) Pandi, and (1) San Rafael. Five (5) new recoveries: (4) City of Meycauayan and (1) Paombong. No new deaths reported today. The total now is at 376 confirmed cases, 201 recovered patients, and 35 deaths.

Maria, (1) Bocaue, (1) San Rafael, and (1) Plaridel. Eight (8) new recoveries: (7) Bocaue and (1) Paombong. One additional death from the City of San Jose Del Monte was reported. The total now is at 364 confirmed cases, 196 recovered patients, and 35 deaths.

They also reported a new recovery from the town of Bulakan. The total now is at 343 confirmed cases, 188 recovered patients, and 34 deaths.

The Bulacan Provincial Health Office reported four (4) new confirmed cases from the towns of the San Ildefonso, Marilao, City of San Jose Del Monte, and City of Malolos. We also have three (3) newly recovered COVID-19 patients from the towns of San Ildefonso, Bulakan, and Baliuag. The total now is at 219 confirmed cases, 93 recovered patients, and 31 deaths.

The Bulacan Provincial Health Office reported five (5) new confirmed cases from the towns of the Guiguinto, Santa Maria, (2) City of Meycauayan, and San Rafael. We also have two (2) newly recovered COVID-19 patients from the town of Guiguinto. The total now is at 215 confirmed cases, 90 recovered patients, and 31 deaths.

We also have two (2) newly recovered COVID-19 patients from the towns of Plaridel and Pulilan. The total now is at 210 confirmed cases, 88 recovered patients, and 31 deaths.

Bulacan coronavirus patient is from San Jose Del Monte, officials say – CNN Philippines

March 11, 2020 – First Reported COVID-19 case in Bulacan. A 58-year-old Filipina from San Jose Del Monte City in Bulacan is among the country’s confirmed coronavirus cases. This clarifies earlier information disclosed by President Rodrigo Duterte that the patient was a resident of Sta. Maria town, some 16 kilometers west of San Jose Del Monte City.

January 30, 2020 – First COVID-19 case reported in the Philippines

The Philippine Department of Health reported the first case of COVID-19 in the country with a 38-year-old female Chinese national. On 7 March, the first local transmission of COVID-19 was confirmed.

November 2019 – First COVID-19 case reported in Wuhan, China

The Chinese government reported that the first Covid-19 case was traced back November 17, 2019, when a 55-year-old patient from Wuhan in Hubei province contracted the virus. Official statements by the Chinese government to the World Health Organisation reported that the first confirmed case had been diagnosed on the 8th of December.

PhilHealth Coverage

According to their latest advisory, the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) will shoulder the full cost of treatment for all COVID-19 cases until April 14, 2020. After the date, PhilHealth shall continue to provide financial coverage to COVID cases through a recomputed case rate.

Last April 7, 2020, PhilHealth President Ricardo Morales announced that COVID-19 patients who are admitted April 15 onwards will be covered by a case rate package divided into four categories.

  • Mild pneumonia: P43,997.00
  • Moderate pneumonia: P143,267.00
  • Severe pneumonia: P333,519.00
  • Critical pneumonia: P786,384.00
