7th Week Summary – COVID-19 in Bulacan: April 22 to April 28

April 22, 2020 – At the start of the 7th week of the battle vs. COVID-19 in Bulacan, here are 103 COVID Cases, 5 recoveries, and 24 deaths in Bulacan.

  • The Philippines files two diplomatic protests vs. China’s actions in the West Philippine Sea: (1) On the pointing of a radar gun at a Philippine Navy ship in PH waters, and (2) declaring parts of Philippine territory as part of Hainan province.

April 23, 2020 – The World Bank approves $100-M loan for PHL coronavirus fight. Senator Sonny Angara, a coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) survivor, spent P400,000 for treatment at a private hospital in the country. OVP’s fund drive for PPEs reaches P55M on Leni’s 55th birthday.

April 24, 2020 – President Rodrigo Duterte has ordered the extension of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, and other “high-risk” areas in Luzon until May 15, 2020.

The Provincial Health Office of Bulacan reports a new COVID-19 case from the town of Angat and a recovered patient from Balagtas. The total is 104 confirmed cases, 6 recovered patients, and 24 deaths. This marks the beginning of the 7th Week Bulacan COVID-19 Report.

The City of San Jose Del Monte is still at top with 16 cases. Malolos City followed next with 14 cases. Marilao is at 3rd place with 11 cases. At 4th place is Meycauayan City and Baliuag with 9 cases each.

The Provincial Health Office of Bulacan reports 1 new confirmed COVID-19 case and 1 new COVID-19 recovered patient. Both cases are from the City of San Jose Del Monte.

There’s no new COVID case reported today per Provincial Health Office of Bulacan. The total still stands at 105 confirmed cases, 13 recovered patients, and 24 deaths.

April 26, 2020 – 107 COVID Cases, 17 Recoveries, & 24 Deaths

Bulacan Provincial Health Office reports 2 new confirmed COVID-19 case and 4 new COVID-19 recovered patients. The 2 new cases came from the towns of Marilao and Calumpit. The total now is at 107 confirmed cases, 17 recovered patients, and 24 deaths.
