2nd Week Bulacan COVID-19 Summary: March 18 to March 24
March 18, 2020 – At the start of the 2nd week Bulacan COVID-19 battle, there are now six (6) confirmed cases with one (1) death toll from San Ildefonso. The provincial government of Bulacan followed the implementation of the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine.
March 19, 2020 – Governor Daniel Fernando declared Bulacan under a state of calamity due to the threat of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
March 20, 2020 – Some Bulacan LGUs started giving Quarantine Passes and relief packs to residents. Bulakenyo.ph received a lot of messages from Bulacan residents asking for relief packs from the government.
March 21, 2020 – Bulacan records its 2nd COVID-19 death from San Ildefonso.
March 22, 2020 – On this 2nd week, the Provincial Government started relief goods distribution to 24 cities and 3 municipalities in the province.

There are 87 PUIs and six (6) confirmed cases with one (1) death toll.

March 21, 2020 – 7 COVID Cases & 2 Deaths
There are seven (7) confirmed cases in the province with two (2) death toll.
Patient Under Investigation (PUI) – with a history of travel abroad or in Metro Manila or with a history of exposure means that there has been direct contact with the person who has been active on COVID-19 for the past 14 days and is experiencing symptoms such as cough, fever, shortness of breath and diarrhea.
Person Under Monitoring (PUM) – has a history of travel abroad or in Metro Manila or has a history of exposure meaning there has been direct contact with the person who has been active on COVID-19 for the past 14 days but NO symptoms.
March 22, 2020 – 7 COVID Cases & 2 Deaths (No Change)
March 23, 2020 – 8 COVID Cases & 2 Deaths
There are eight (8) confirmed cases in the province with two (2) death toll.
March 24, 2020 – 9 COVID Cases & 2 Deaths
The 2nd week ends with nine (9) confirmed cases in the province with two (2) death toll.
