Bulacan Election 2019: Who Won as Bulacan’s Choice?

May 13, 2019 – Who won during the Bulacan Election 2019? Bulacan local elections were held as part of the 2019 Philippine midterm elections. Voters selected their candidates of choice for all local positions: a town mayor, vice mayor and town councilors; governor, vice-governor, and members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan; and representatives for the four districts of Bulacan and the lone district of San Jose del Monte City. Voters also selected twelve (12) new Senators to replace the outgoing ones, and Party List representatives.

Bulacan Election 2019: Who is the Governor and Vice Governor of Bulacan?

The incumbent Vice-Governor Daniel Fernando ran as Governor. He won over incumbent Malolos Mayor “Agila” Natividad and former councilor “Aguila” Teddy Natividad. The 2 Natividad’s are half-brothers, sons of the late Teddy Natividad, former District 1 congressman.

The incumbent Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado ran as Vice-Governor. He won over Nelson Dela Merced, and incumbent Bocaue councilor Anjo Mendoza, the son of former Bulacan governor Jonjon Mendoza.

First District – Incumbent Jose Antonio Sy-Alvarado won against Sander Tantoco and Ronald “Sanbon” Tantoco. This will be his second term.

Second District – Incumbent Gavini “Apol” Pancho ran for his third term, and won a landslide over his opponents.

Third District – Incumbent Lorna C. Silverio won against former Bulacan Governor and congressman Jonjon Mendoza, and her stepson Ricardo Silverio Jr. This will be her second term.

Fourth District – The incumbent Meycauayan City Mayor Henry Villarica ran unopposed.

San Jose Del Monte – Incumbent Florida Robes won against incumbent councilor Irene del Rosario with a margin of 10,896 votes. This will be her second term.

Who won as Board Members in the Bulacan Election 2019? They will be the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

First District – Allan Andan, Mina Fermin, and Jong Ople
Second District Pechay dela Cruz, and Atty. Monet Posadas
Third District – Romeo Castro and Emily Viceo
Fourth District – Jon-jon delos Santos, Alex Castro, and Allan Ray Baluyut
